Enrolment / Registration Procedures
We have pre-enrolled your card for MasterCard® SecureCode™. This means you will be asked to set up your private code the first time you make payments to a MasterCard® SecureCode™ participating merchant on the internet. A window will appear from us asking you to confirm your identity and create a private password called SecureCode™ — information between only you and us
The enrolment process is in two steps:
- Identity Confirmation screen
You will be required to answer some questions. The required answers are details you have previously registered with the bank when you applied for your Debit Card. Details you provide at this stage will be used to confirm your identity - SecureCode Creation screen
You will be required to create a password which will be your SecureCode™. The SecureCode™ you create here will be required to complete any online purchase at a MasterCard® SecureCode™ participating merchant’s site
You will be allowed to opt out of the enrolment process for up to three times while making online purchases after which enrolment onto MasterCard® SecureCode™ service will become mandatory
Subsequent e-commerce transactions will require the use of your SecureCode. If you forget this, don’t worry as there will always be an opportunity for you to reset it. To reset your SecureCode, please click on the “forgot password” link on the window that will be presented to you and follow the instructions
