Trade finance services

We offer the following services to our clients:

Export letters of credit

We advise and confirm letters of credit to beneficiaries in the UK and Europe. Documents presented are checked in our London office by our team of experienced and qualified staff. We are also happy to act as reimbursing bank for correspondent bank partners.

Import letters of credit

For corporate customers who have, or would like to have, an appropriate facility with us, we are able to open letters of credit in favour of your suppliers anywhere in the world.

Back-to-back letters of credit

Subject to a facility being agreed, we may be able to assist our customers who wish to offer us a letter of credit issued in their favour as security for a separate letter of credit to be issued in favour of their suppliers.

Discounting

We are happy to consider providing discount finance against term bills drawn under letters of credit.

Contract guarantees

For corporate customers who have, or would like to have, an appropriate facility with us, we are able to issue a range of guarantees including Tender, Advance Payment and Performance Guarantees.
